What We Manufacture With CNC Punching
CNC punching is ideal for repeat sheet metal products with holes, slots, louvers, vents, mounting features, and formed details. Yishang Metal supports punched parts from drawing review to fabrication, finishing, and batch production.
Electrical Enclosures & Cabinets
Doors, mounting panels, cable-entry knockouts, ventilation and control-box products.
Server & Electronics Products
Rack panels, chassis products, fan openings, connector layouts and equipment covers.
HVAC & Ventilation Products
Perforated covers, filter panels, louvers, grilles and airflow-management products.
Industrial & Commercial Products
Machine guards, access panels, appliance panels, brackets, retail fixtures and displays.
A Low Quote Is Expensive When the Batch Fails
For punched metal products, small mistakes in hole position, tooling choice, burr control, or material thickness can cause assembly problems and costly rework. We focus on drawing review, punching feasibility, sample confirmation, and repeat production control before moving into larger orders.
Hidden Tooling Surprises
We separate standard tooling, special tooling and repeat-order economics before you approve the quotation.
Samples That Do Not Match the Batch
First-article requirements, key dimensions and formed-feature directions are carried into production control.
Scratched Visible Surfaces
Cosmetic faces, tool witness, protective film and packing contact are reviewed before production.
Too Many Suppliers to Manage
Punching, deburring, bending, hardware, finishing and packing can be coordinated under one project.
Have a Drawing and Repeat Quantity?
Send your drawings, material, thickness, and estimated order quantity. We’ll review whether CNC punching is suitable for your project.
From Flat Sheet to Finished Punched Metal Products
CNC punching is only one step in many sheet metal projects. Yishang Metal can combine punching with cutting, bending, welding, surface finishing, assembly, packaging, and export delivery.
CNC Punching & Forming
Holes, slots, perforations, louvers, embosses, knockouts, extrusions and selected tapping support.
Deburring & Bending
Prepare safe edges and form panels, brackets, covers and enclosures to drawing requirements.
Hardware, Welding & Assembly
Coordinate inserts, studs, nuts, joining and practical assembly checks when required.
Finishing & Protective Packing
Powder coating, plating, brushing, printing and surface-conscious export packing.
Quality Control Around What Your Customer Will Notice
For punched products, customers often notice hole alignment, burrs, deformation, surface scratches, coating quality, and assembly fit. Before shipment, we check key dimensions, punching quality, appearance, quantity, labeling, and packaging to help reduce receiving problems.
- Hole positions, spacing, slots, and mounting features are checked against drawings.
- Edges and punched areas are reviewed for burrs, sharp points, and finishing needs.
- Visible surfaces are checked for scratches, coating issues, stains, or handling damage.
- Finished products are packed according to size, finish, quantity, and export handling needs.
Reducing Cost for Repeat Ventilation Parts
For ventilation covers, perforated panels, and repeat hole-pattern parts, CNC punching can be more efficient than cutting each feature separately. With confirmed drawings and repeat quantities, punching can help improve production speed and reduce unit cost for suitable products.
Fewer Operations
Repeat holes, slots, and vents can be produced efficiently after the process is confirmed.
Better Repeatability
Stable tooling and approved samples help keep repeated batches consistent.
Is CNC Punching a Good Fit for Your Product?
CNC punching is most suitable for repeat sheet metal products with holes, slots, louvers, vents, and formed features. For complex outlines, very small batches, or highly flexible shapes, laser cutting may be a better option.
Repeat holes, slots, vents, louvers, mounting patterns, brackets, panels, and cabinet parts.
Stainless steel, carbon steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, copper, and brass based on project requirements.
Depends on material, tooling, hole size, part shape, and punching requirements.
Very small quantities, highly complex contours, or designs that change frequently.
More cost-effective when the product has repeat features and stable order quantities.
We review drawings, material, thickness, hole pattern, and quantity before recommending punching.
Send These Details for a More Accurate Punching Quote
Clear project details help us review tooling, material, punching feasibility, finishing, and production cost more accurately.
Drawing Files
DXF or DWG, 3D CAD and a dimensioned PDF with datums and critical features.
Material & Thickness
Exact grade, coating condition, grain or cosmetic face requirements.
Quantity & Forecast
Sample quantity, first batch and expected annual or repeat demand.
Finish & Delivery
Powder coating, plating, printing, packing and target delivery date.
Before You Send a CNC Punching RFQ
Clear answers on quantity, tooling, repeatability, appearance and secondary work help procurement teams compare suppliers on total risk, not only unit price.
What is your minimum order quantity for CNC punching?
We can support a one-piece sample, but setup and tooling cost have a larger effect at low quantity. Send the sample quantity, first batch and annual demand so we can recommend the practical route.
How quickly can I receive a quotation?
For a complete RFQ, we target fast feedback. Quotations involving special formed features, tooling or complex secondary work may require engineering clarification first.
Will I need to pay for special punching tools?
Not always. Standard tooling covers many holes, slots and forms. We quote special tooling only when geometry requires it and explain how repeat demand affects the commercial value.
Can the approved sample be repeated in future batches?
That is the goal. Approved drawings, tool strategy, critical inspection points, finish requirements and packing notes are used to support future repeat orders.
Can you prevent scratches on visible panels?
Identify the cosmetic face and acceptable appearance standard. We can plan protective film, tool contact, handling, finishing inspection and individual packing around those requirements.
Can you provide bending, welding and surface finishing too?
Yes. Depending on the product, we can coordinate deburring, bending, hardware insertion, welding, powder coating, plating, printing, assembly checks and export packing.
How do you control hole patterns across a large panel?
We review datums, accumulated pitch, clamp zones and the critical relationships that affect assembly. Inspection scope is confirmed from the drawing and product risk.
What information should I send for a quote?
Send drawing files, material grade and thickness, quantity, annual forecast, critical tolerances, formed-feature direction, finish, cosmetic requirements, packing and target delivery.
