Rework risk

Fabrication Details That Commonly Turn Into Assembly Rework

The drawing can be correct while manufacturing variation in bends, welds, hardware or finishing still creates problems at final assembly.

01

Bend, Hole & Interface Alignment

Bends, holes, slots and mounting features need to stay related to the parts they connect to.

02

Weld Distortion & Geometry

Joined parts need controlled geometry so doors, panels, brackets and mating components still fit after welding.

03

Hardware & Assembly Fit

PEM hardware, studs, hinges and purchased components must stay in drawing-defined positions.

04

Finish, Masking & Surface Protection

Coating thickness, masked areas, visible surfaces and packing requirements need to follow the approved product requirements.

Project route

From Your Drawings to Repeatable Production

A simple project route keeps manufacturability, sample approval and repeat production tied to the same requirements.

01

Review the Drawings

Confirm material, thickness, quantity, key dimensions, hardware, finish and assembly requirements.

02

Check DFM & Quote Risks

Flag unclear tolerances, bend conditions, welding risks, hardware positions and finish-related issues before production.

03

Approve the Sample

Use the approved sample and confirmed requirements as the reference for repeat production where applicable.

04

Produce, Inspect & Protect

Check critical dimensions, fit and finish, then protect finished parts for packing and shipment.

Questions Buyers Usually Need to Confirm

Yes. Prototype and pilot quantities can be reviewed before approved requirements move into repeat OEM production. Feasibility and commercial terms depend on the drawings, material, quantity and process route.
STEP or STP, DXF, DWG and PDF files can be reviewed. A 3D assembly or model plus controlled 2D drawings is helpful when multiple parts must fit together.
A physical sample and the available dimensions or requirements can be reviewed. Quotation and production requirements still need to be confirmed before manufacturing begins.
Yes. Panels, brackets, frames, enclosures and related fabricated parts can be coordinated against the same approved drawing set and assembly requirements.
Yes, when included in the drawing and agreed scope. PEM nuts, studs, rivet nuts, hinges, handles and specified purchased hardware can be installed in drawing-defined positions.
The approved sample and confirmed material, dimensions, hardware, finish and inspection requirements become the reference for the agreed repeat-production route.
