Fit / access / assembly risks

Fabrication Details That Affect Energy Equipment Assembly

Cabinet geometry, rack alignment, openings and finishing need to remain correct after fabrication so connected equipment parts install as intended.

01

Cabinet & Frame Distortion

Welded cabinets and support frames need to hold the geometry required for doors, panels and internal mounting parts to fit correctly.

02

Rack, Tray & Mounting Alignment

Repeated rack positions, trays, mounting holes and brackets need to remain aligned across connected equipment parts.

03

Ventilation, Cable Entry & Cutouts

Louvers, vents, cable entries and equipment openings must remain correctly positioned after cutting, forming and finishing.

04

Coating, Masking & Mating Surfaces

Powder coating, plated areas and masked surfaces should follow drawing-defined requirements around hardware, contact and mating locations.

Energy & Power applications

Where Our Fabricated Metal Parts Fit Into Energy & Power Equipment

From energy storage and power conversion systems to distribution and industrial power equipment, we manufacture the cabinets, racks, frames, panels and mounting parts built into the equipment.

Energy Storage Systems

Cabinets, racks, trays, panels and access structures used around storage equipment.

Solar & Power Conversion Equipment

Inverter and PCS housings, panels, support frames and mounting parts.

Power Distribution & Grid Equipment

Distribution cabinets, control housings, panels and internal mounting structures.

Generator & Industrial Power Equipment

Generator housings, equipment enclosures, support frames and adjacent power cabinets.

Connected fabrication

Connected Fabrication for Multi-Part Energy Equipment Projects

Cabinets, racks, panels and mounting parts often depend on the same hole positions, hardware, finishes and assembly interfaces. Coordinating related processes helps reduce supplier handoff errors.

01

Laser Cutting & Punching

Keep cutouts, vents, slots and mounting features consistent across connected panels and cabinet parts.

02

Metal Bending & Forming

Maintain cabinet, door and panel fit across mating fabricated parts.

03

Welding

Control joined cabinet and frame geometry before downstream finishing and assembly.

04

Hardware Installation

Keep PEM hardware, hinges, handles and purchased components in drawing-defined positions.

05

Surface Finishing

Coordinate finish and masking requirements across mating cabinets, racks, panels and frames.

06

Assembly & Packing

Check connected parts together where required and protect finished surfaces for equipment installation.

RFQ to repeat order

From Energy Equipment Drawings to Parts Ready for Assembly

01

Review the Drawings

Confirm material, thickness, quantity, critical dimensions, mounting interfaces, openings, hardware and finish requirements.

02

Check Fit & DFM Risks

Review bend conditions, welded geometry, rack and tray alignment, door and panel fit, hardware positions and finish-related clearances.

03

Coordinate Connected Fabrication

Control cutting, forming, welding, hardware and finishing around the approved drawings and sample requirements.

04

Inspect for Fit & Assembly

Verify critical dimensions, hardware, appearance and assembly-related features before protective packing and shipment.

Questions Energy & Power Buyers Usually Need to Confirm

Yes. Related fabricated products can be coordinated against one released project drawing set. Final scope depends on the drawings, materials, quantity, finishes, purchased hardware and inspection requirements.
Yes. Yishang can manufacture the defined fabricated metal cabinets, racks, housings, panels and related parts from customer-controlled drawings. Battery, inverter and electrical-system design remain outside our fabrication scope.
We review the drawing and critical dimensions, plan welding sequence and fixtures where appropriate, inspect after fabrication and finishing, and use sample approval before repeat production when required.
Yes, when included in the agreed scope. Laser-cut or punched openings, louvers, holes, PEM nuts, studs, rivet nuts, hinges, handles and specified purchased hardware can be produced or installed in drawing-defined positions.
Yes. Prototype, sample or pilot quantities can confirm fit, hardware, appearance and assembly-related requirements before approved conditions move into repeat batches.
Yishang can manufacture enclosure features, materials, openings, hardware and finishes to customer-controlled drawings and specifications. Final IP, NEMA, UL or other equipment certification depends on the complete enclosure design, seals, components, assembly and required testing, and is not automatically guaranteed by metal fabrication alone.
